Andreu Mas-Colell is currently Emeritus Professor of Economics at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain. Formerly he was Professor of Economics at Harvard University (1981-96), Professor of Economics and Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley (1972-80) and Chairman of the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (2006-2010).

ICREA research professor in the area of experimental and behavioral economics and the director of the Behavioral Science Laboratory (BESLab) at the department of Economics and Business, University Pompeu Fabra since 2007. She received her PhD in economics in 1994 with Reinhard Selten (Nobel Laureate, 1994) at Bonn University. After her postdoc with Alvin Roth (Nobel Laureate, 2012) at the University of Pittsburgh (1994-1995), she joined the University Pompeu Fabra in 1995.
She is best known through her work on behavioral reasoning in Keynesian Beauty Contests, with economic lab and field experiments, and neuroeconomic studies.
