Her profesional activity has been developed entirely in the universities of Zaragoza and Oviedo, where she is, at present, Catedratica (Full Professor) of Algebra in the Mathematics Department.
Her research actitivy has been focussed on the study of algebraic structures and their relations, mainly Groups and Nonassociative Algebras (Jordan and Bernstein Algebras, Jordan and Lie Superalgebras, Superconformal Algebras, …) For more than twenty years already she has been colaborator of Efim Zelmanov, Fields Medal in Mathematics. She has spent several research stays in Chicago University, Yale University, KIAS (Seoul) among others.
